Finally some HH's, pls comment!

I played a session today and some hands were finally imported in PT.

I think I played this two hands ok but I hope to here some comments from you on these to hands.

First one. Villian is a tight 17/9/1.5. I mostly raise preflop in the blinds here vs LP raise but I put villian on a big hand here. Should I have raised anyway? On the flop I just call and I hope to get a cheap showdown. I think it is a WA/WB situation.

Next hand: Villian is an unknown and I'm not sure what to do with AA on the turn and river here. I choose to check the river OOP cause I don't want to build a big pot where I am not sure where I am.

H1: If you put him on a big pair I think you need to either raise the flop representing a set or fold it, and folding is probably better.

H2: With both potential straight draws and flush draws out there and one of them hits, I like to bet out for two reasons. It lets me set the price for one thing, and it doesn't induce bluffs by showing weakness.

rasputin, I meant a big hand and not a big pair actually. Big hand = AJ+,77+. On the flop I thought there was a fair chance he had overcards and his small bet on every street made me call. If A,K,Q,J comes on turn or river I will slowdown my action. Shall I raise flop anyway?

Hand 1: "Should I have raised anyway? "
i think if you did, you'd be forced to bet the flop too. and if you don't take it down at that point, abandon the hand.

of course, if you hit your set, there's already money in the pot, so you could potentially win a big hand.

with those stats, i might bet out the flop and see what he does. if he calls, i'll probably give up the hand on the turn if it doesn't help me.
